Due to the virtually unlimited number o f results po ssible by
selecting KN O B PARAMETER G RO UP switches and turning
the CO N TRO L kno bs, each o f the two Scenes can be as
similar o r radically different as yo u want. This g ives yo u
two specific so unds to cho o se fro m at any time within each
o f the 1 2 8 vo ices, at the simple press o f a [SCEN E]
switch.
Scenes are especially handy fo r creating slig ht variatio ns
o n the same so und fo r use during different parts o f a
so ng — say, o ne with fast attack that cuts thro ug h the mix
during rhythmic phrases, and o ne with a slo wer attack
that's mo re suitable fo r a pad. And o f co urse, if the two
Scenes are co mpletely different fro m each o ther— say o ne
so und prepared fo r verse and cho rus, and ano ther fo r a
so lo break— it's a lo t simpler to switch back and fo rth
between Scenes than it is to switch between vo ices,
especially under the pressure o f a live situatio n.
