2.2.2 Installing the Driver

Impact
It takes about 30 seconds to install the driver. The installation process cannot be interrupted.
During the installation, the OS cannot be restarted. Otherwise, the OS may be abnormal or
cannot be started.
Installing the Driver on Linux
Step 1 Log in to the server OS.

Step 2 Go to the directory where the driver package is stored.
Step 3 Run the command to install the driver package.

The driver package of the IN200 has been downloaded.
The NIC driver package is included in the IN200 software package. For details about

The driver package has been uploaded to the server OS.
7.1 Logging In to the Real-Time Server
RHEL, CentOS, Oracle, and SUSE
Run the rpm -ivh <driver software package name> command.
Using RHEL as an example:
[root@localhost]# rpm -ivh kmod-hinic-1.8.2.8_3.10.0_957-1.el7.x86_64.rpm

Ubuntu and Debian
NOTE
The NIC driver installation depends on the module-init-tools component. If the module-init-tools
component is not installed on the OS, download and install the module-init-tools component based
on the OS version from the official Ubuntu/Debian website.
1. Download the module-init-tools component.

2. Upload the module-init-tools component file to the OS by referring to

3. Run the following command to install the module-init-tools component:
dpkg -i module-init-tools.deb
Run the dpkg -i <driver software package name> command.
Using Ubuntu as an example:
root@ubuntu1804:/home/ubuntu # dpkg -i
hinic-1.6.1.1-4.15.0_20_generic.ubuntu.arm64.deb
