2.7.2 Defining the zero-point offset

Enter work offsets (coarse and fine) directly in the work offset list.
Fine offsets must be set up by the machine manufacturer.
The number of possible zero-point offsets is set in machine data.
Please also refer to the machine manufacturer's instructions.
Select the "Work offset" softkey in the "Tools WOs" operating
section.
The work offset list appears.
Position the cursor on the coarse or fine offset that you wish to
define.
Enter the desired coordinates for the axis in question You can use
the cursor keys to switch between axes.
-or-
Press the "Position set X", "Position set Y" or "Position set Z"
softkey to accept the position value of an axis from the position
display for a coarse offset.
-or-
Press the "Position set all" softkey to accept the position values of
all axes from the position display for a coarse offset.
The new coarse offset is set. The values from the fine offset are
included in the calculation and then deleted.
Press the "Clear offset" softkey to delete the coarse and fine
offset values at the same time.
With the "Further axes" softkey, you can display another three axes (2
round axes, 1 linear axis) and determine their offsets. These additional
axes must be activated via machine data.
