Toshiba recommends an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) for the
IPedge server. A UPS is the preferred power source since it provides
automatic switch-over to 120 VAC back-up in case of a loss of power. The
specific input voltage and current requirements for each server is listed
the specifications for each model.
The IPedge hardware platform is available in three configurations.
IPedge EC serving up to 200 users
IPedge EM serving up to 1000 users
IPedge EP serving up to 40 users.
The EC and EM servers are both 1U rackmount chassis. The EP server
can be set on a shelf horizontally or vertically, using the optional base.
The 2U high EP chassis can be installed in a 19 inch rack using the
optional rackmount shelf adapter. Refer to
EC Server - Up to 200 users
EM Server - Up to 1000 users
EP Server - Up to 40 users
