TROUBLESHOOTING
When the main switch is set to "ON", the immobilizer system indicator light does not come on nor
flashes.
1. Check the fuses.
(Main, ignition and backup)
Refer to "CHECKING THE FUSES"
on page 8-127.

2. Check the battery.
Refer to "CHECKING AND
CHARGING THE BATTERY" on
page 8-127.

3. Check the main switch.
Refer to "CHECKING THE
SWITCHES" on page 8-123.

4. Check the entire immobilizer sys-
tem's wiring.
Refer to "CIRCUIT DIAGRAM" on
page 8-75.

• Check the condition of the each
immobilizer system circuits.
• Refer to "SELF-DIAGNOSIS FAULT
CODE INDICATION" on page 8-82.
IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM

Replace the fuse(s).

• Clean the battery terminals.
• Recharge or replace the battery.
NG→
Replace the main switch/immobilizer
unit.
NG→
Properly connect or repair the immobi-
lizer system's wiring.
