Problem
Suction power is
weak.
The cleaner does
not operate.
Operation stops.
Operating time is
short even after
charging.
The exhaust or handy
cleaner is warm
(during operation).
The handy cleaner or charging
station is warm (while charging).
An abnormal odor is
coming from the
exhaust.
The rotary brush of
the power head
does not rotate or
rotates poorly.
Things to check
Is the remaining battery level low?
Is the dust case full of dust?
Is dust stuck in the filters?
Is dust clogging the cyclone chamber
inside the dust case?
Is dust clogging the power head?
Is the remaining battery level low?
Is the cleaner set on the charging station?
Is the handy cleaner securely
attached to the stick cleaner?
Is the remaining battery level low?
Did you leave the stick cleaner unattended
for a long period of time without charging it?
Have you repeatedly charged the battery after
finishing using the stick cleaner while the battery
was not completely discharged? (Memory effect)
Is the battery exhausted?
The motor is being cooled via air flow, which is normal.
It gets warm due to the flow of electrical current to the control circuit, which
is normal.
Is dust clogging the filters, dust case, or
cyclone chamber?
Are the filters thoroughly dried after
washing?
Is the remaining battery level low?
Is the handy cleaner control button
pressed?
Is the handy cleaner securely
attached to the stick cleaner or power
head?
Is the power head not touching the
floor?
Is dust stuck to the rotary brush, safety
switch, etc.?
Countermeasure
Set the stick cleaner on the charging station for charging.
Emptying the dust case.
Clean the filter.
Remove the dust.
Remove the dust.
Set the cleaner on the charging station for charging.
Detach it from the charging station.
Securely attach it.
Set the cleaner on the charging station for charging.
The battery capacity may be
temporarily recovering poorly.
Repeat the procedure of using the
cleaner until the battery is exhausted
and charging fully 2 or 3 times.
If the operating time is particularly short even after
charging correctly, the battery is exhausted. Please
consult with the Hitachi authorized service agent.
Clean the filter.
After washing, thoroughly air dry the
filters.
Set the cleaner on the charging station for charging.
Press the stick cleaner control button.
Securely attach it.
The power head is designed to stop
when it is lifted from the floor. Place
the power head on the floor.
Remove the dust.
