Hourglass flashes very fast
• Possible cause
The SD card is full.
• Solution
- Check SD card, and remove files if necessary.
- Use a PC to format the card. Use FAT or FAT32.
Note: NTFS is incompatible.

The SD card is write protected.
• Solution
Remove SD card, and disable the write protection.
• Possible cause
The SD card is incompatible.
• Solution
Use a PC to format the SD card. Use FAT or FAT32.
Note: NTFS is incompatible.
Note: SD Cards larger than 2 GB are not supported.
Hourglass flashes for a long time after inserting the
SD Card
• Possible cause
The SD card is almost full.
• Solution
- Remove old files/recordings.
- Format the SD card.
• Possible cause
The SD card is too slow.
• Solution
Use a faster SD card.

Recorded files missing on SD card
• Possible cause
The SD card was removed during recording.
• Solution
- Always stop recording before removing SD card.
- Select SD card exchange before removing SD
card.
User display is blank
• Possible cause
During CU power up, the USB cable was connected
to the CU and PC, while the PC was switched off.
• Solution
- Make sure the USB cable is not connected during
CU power up.
- Make sure the PC is fully operational before con-
necting the USB cable.
