Receiving calls

Answering calls

You can lift the handset as usual to speak to the caller.
You can also answer calls by pressing the "Handsfree" key and leaving the handset
on-hook.

Your telephone rings and the LED beside
the handset flashes.
The corresponding message appears on
the display.
The name of the caller is displayed if it is
transmitted by the caller's system. If it is
not transmitted, the system enters the
name if it is stored with the corresponding
number in the telephone book.
Lift the handset to answer the call. You are
now connected to the calling party.
The connection is shown on the display.
Note:
Any call that you do not answer is stored in
the call list ( p. 28).
You can also answer calls for other sub-
scribers within your telephone system on
your phone.
When the other terminal rings, enter the
respective call number or press the corre-
sponding destination key.
Select the menu item "Pick up a call". This
diverts the call to your telephone.
The call is signaled on your phone as de-
scribed above. You can now answer it.
