Simple mode:
If you are still unfamiliar with the functions,
you can have them all displayed on the
screen. This display mode is the default
setting of your telephone.
Standard mode:
In this display mode, functions assigned to
fixed or programmable function keys are
not displayed.
Softkey mode:
Switch to softkey mode if you are an expe-
rienced user.
When you use your phone, all functions
you can perform are displayed as softkeys
rather than menu items.
If, for example, you wish to adjust the vol-
ume of the receiver, you must press one of

the two corresponding softkeys.
The menu is displayed as usual when the
phone is idle.
Changing the display mode:
Select the "Further functions:" menu item.
Select the "Setting the telephone" menu
item.
Highlight the desired menu item and press
"Enter".
Simple
The setting options are displayed.

press "Enter".
