Glass on Backguard
Glass on backguard may be
removed to permit cleaning of
backside of glass. To remove, take
off all knobs, then grasp top edge
of glass at each end and pull glass
forward. To replace the glass, locate bottom of glass in

Special considerations for models with Plastic
Retainers for holding the left and right edges of
the glass.
Some models have plastic inserts which retain the left

LIFTTOP Plus Cooktop
Some models have a LIFTTOP Plus cooktop that can
be supported in the up position for easier cleaning.
Be sure all the elements are turned off before raising
the LIFTTOPPlus cooktop. There are two side
supports that lock into position when the LIFTTOP Plus
cooktop is lifted. The cooktop elements do not need to be
removed before lifting.
After cleaning under the cooktop with hot, mild soapy
water and a clean cloth, lower the LIFTTOPPlus
cooktop. Be careful not to pinch fingers.
