Update to the SAN0001 firmware option

The SANnnnn firmware options are made available within SAGnnnn files. A SAGnnnn file
comprises a:
• Default Configuration, and a
• SANnnnn firmware option
If the D20MX was ordered with the SAN0002 SGConfig firmware option and migration from
older firmware is not required or the latest application versions are required, the following
procedure can be followed to update your D20MX configuration to the SGConfig SAN0001
firmware option.
To update the D20MX configuration to the SGConfig SAN0001 firmware option:
1. Start SGConfig,
Result: The Welcome to SGConfig screen appears.
2. Open a project (e.g., TEST_PROJ).
3. Import the SAG0001 firmware option.
If the SAG0001 firmware option has already been imported, go to step 4 to open the
firmware option:
3.1. Click GE > Archive > Project > Restore.
Result: The Restore Project Details window appears.
3.2. Click ... .
Result: The Choose a File window appears.
3.3. Locate this configurations in project archives named SAG0001-00.7zip in the
GE Digital Energy D20MX Documentation CD (part number 588-0075/00).
Result: SAG0001 is displayed in the Restore Project Details window. The name
can be changed if desired.
3.4. Click OK.
Result: On completion a pop-up message appears: Project 'SAG0001' has been
restored.
3.5. Click OK.
4. Open SAG0001: click GE > Recent Projects > select SAG0001.
5. Transfer the SAN0001 firmware option to the Project:
5.1. Click the ribbon Configure group > Miscellaneous > Firmware Library.
Result: The Firmware Library window appears.
5.2. Click Copy.
5.3. Select menu item Copy To.
5.4. Select the Project you want to copy the configuration to (e.g., TEST_PROJ) from
the drop-down menu.
5.5. Click OK.
5.6. Click Close.
6. Close SAG0001:
Click GE > Close Project. 
6.1.
Result: The Close Project window appears.
6.2. Select: SAG0001.
6.3. Click OK.
