Clock Oscillator Circuits

The clock oscillator circuit generates an internal clock with an oscillator connected to
or a clock signal input to the clock oscillation pin.
Clock Oscillator Circuit
Using crystal and ceramic oscillators
Connect crystal and ceramic oscillators as shown in Figure 6.9-1.

Using external clock
As shown in Figure 6.9-2, connect the external clock to the X0 pin while leaving the X1 pin open. To
supply the subclock from an external source, connect the external clock to the X0A pin while leaving the
X1A pin open.
