Water filter
^ Touch the access sensor again.
^ By touching the X sensor you can
now select:
^ 0: The water filter is fitted
^ 1: The reminder to change the
filter is deactivated
(standard setting)
^ –: Return to menu
^ Touch the X sensor repeatedly until
^ 0 appears in the display.
The ^ 1 function should only be
selected if the household water
supply is already fittted with a water
filter. If this is the case, use the stan-
dard water filter in your appliance.
^ Now touch the access sensor for 2
seconds to confirm that the filter has
been changed.
The reminder to change the filter has
now been activated.
^ Touch the X sensor repeatedly until
^ – appears in the display.
^ Touch the access sensor.
^ Touch the X sensor repeatedly until ;
appears in the display.
^ Touch the access sensor.
You have now left settings mode.
^ Close the appliance door.
The door alarm is automatically
disabled when the appliance is in
settings mode. As soon as the door
is closed, the door alarm is activated
again.

When the appliance is used for the
first time, discard any ice cubes that
are produced in the first 24 hours.
Reminder to change the water filter
Depending on the amount of ice cubes
being made, the water filter will need to
be changed approx. every six months.
– When the reminder to change the
water filter lights up red, this
indicates that the filter will soon need
to be changed.
^ Make sure that you have a spare
water filter ready to fit.
You can order a replacement water
filter (the standard filter or the active
charcoal filter) from your Miele
dealer or the Miele Spare Parts
Department.
– When the reminder to change the
water filter flashes red, this indicates
that the filter needs to be changed
now.
