Receive using Infrared

The infrared port is used for data communication with compatible devices
such as a peer 388 device or other PDA/phone that have infrared port
compliant to the OBEX standard.
If you are exchanging data with another 388, then, one of the 388 will be
the recipient and another one will be the sender.
To receive information from another 388:

Turn on the IrDA transmission feature at the sending 388. For example,
in the address book, press the
contact information screen.

Adjust the angle and the distance between the devices, and tap
the main menu of the receiver 388 to ensure the Receive IR is turned to
ON. The following sequence of events should occur providing the
devices establish a connection.

If the phone cannot find the transmitting device, the following messages
will be displayed:

Not Found
Tap OK to return to the Main Menu.
