To chargethe battery pack
• Be sure to charge the battm T pack belorc you
start using your canlcorder.
• We recommend charging tim battely pack ill an
ambient temper_mn'c of between 10 °C to 30 °C
150 °F to 86 °F) until tile CHG (charge) hunp
turns off. If you charge tl_e battery pack outside
of this temperature range, you may not be able
to charge it el]icienfly.
• Alier charging is complete, disconnect the AC
Adaotir lrom tile DC IN jack on your camcorder
or remove file battely pack,
To use the battery packeffectively
• BattcJy pack perfn'n/ance decreases when tile
ambienl temperature is 10 °C (50 °F) or below,
and the ]englh of time you can use the ballery
pack becomes shorler. Ill that cw,e, do one of the
kdlowings to use lhe batlcry pack h)r a longer
time.
Pul the battery pack in a pocket to warm it up,

however, that the battery indication will not be

long lime, or if left ill a fiflly cllarged state, or
when the battery pack is lrequenfly used. Use

guide only.
