6.3. TOTAL HEAT EXCHANGER ELEMENT
CLEANING KPI-(252~2002)(E/H)2E MODELS
Clean the element once or more every two years. In order to avoid
decreasing airflow and efficiency.
Step 1:
Pull back the hinges, open the service cover and remove the
cover.

Step 2:
Take hold of the handle and draw the total heat exchanger
elements (two elements) out from the main unit.

Step 3 KPI-(252~2002)E2E:
Use a vacuum cleaner to suck up the dust and dirt on the exposed
surfaces of the total heat exchange elements.
Attach a nozzle with a brush to the vacuum cleaner for this job
and clean the elements by passing the brush lightly over their
exposed surfaces.

CAUTION
Do not wash the element by water.
Do not use the hard nozzle of the vacuum cleaner. It may damage
the exposed surfaces of the KPI elements.
Under no circumstances should the KPI elements be washed in
water.

Aluminium heat exchanger can be cleaned using vapour.
Clean with vapour of water

Set the element.
Step 5:
Close the service cover
6.4. TOTAL HEAT EXCHANGER ELEMENT
CLEANING KPI-3002H2E MODELS
Step 1:
Remove the screws and pull down to take out the heat exchanger
element.
WARNING
Make sure to have the heat exchanger element well subjected
before removing the screws to prevent it fall.
Heat exchanger weight: 22 kg
Step 2:
Aluminium heat exchanger can be cleaned using vapour.
Clean with vapour of water
Step 3:
Close the service cover
