Checking the charging session
NOTE
The electric vehicle must have a low SoC (< 60%).
Connect the laptop to the charging station beforehand.
1. Connect the CCS plug with the electric vehicle
2. Switch on the "Cable check" mode at the charger
– "Cable check" HMI display
– The voltage rises to almost 500 V within a few seconds and then goes down to 0 V.
3. Switch on the "Pre-charge" mode at the charger
– "Pre-charge" HMI display
– Voltage ramps up to vehicle battery voltage
4. Switch on the "Current demand" mode at the charger
– "Charging" HMI display
– Current ramps up to meet the demand of the vehicle
5. End the session using the stop button on the HMI
– Charging process stops.
– "Charging completed" HMI display
NOTE
The behavior of the charging station depends on the electric vehicle.
• When the electric vehicle stops the charging process at 100%, the charging station stops.
• If the electric vehicle does not stop the charging process at 100%, the charging station
continues the charging process. The customer then has to stop the process.
