42 Rack Mounting and Option Installation
An optional air filter kit can be purchased for the HP E840xA mainframe.
Figure 2-15 shows how to install the kit.
1. Remove the four screws from the rear panel as shown in Figure 2-15.
2. Install the bottom Air Filter Bracket as shown. Use the two pan-head
screws included with the Air Filter Kit.
3. Install the Air filter. Carefully place the filter into the bottom bracket.
4. Attach the top bracket to the mainframe. Hand-tighten the
thumbscrews; do not over-tighten.
