Access permissions using community names
The CM uses the following community strings to control the rights for authentication of the
access to its SNMP agent via SNMPv1:

For security reasons, change the generally known strings "public" and "private".
Disable SNMP
If you do not want your CM to respond to SNMP requests, then you can disable the SNMP
agent of the CM via the data record B071

Maintenance
Hot surfaces
Risk of burns during maintenance work on parts with a surface temperature above 70 °C
(158 °F).
• Take appropriate protective measures, for example, wear protective gloves.
• Once maintenance work is complete, restore the touch protection measures.
Cleaning the housing
• In hazardous areas
• In non-hazardous areas
