If the message, " CD-ROM Drive Installed Toshiba CD ROM XM-
5602B " displays on the screen, perform Procedure 2. If this message does not
display, perform Check 2.
Check 2 (A) Properly configure the CD-ROM drive in system setup (refer to the CD-ROM
Setup Instructions below). (B) Test the CD-ROM drive.
If the problem still exists, perform Procedure 2. If the problem no longer exists,
perform the Repair Completion Process.
CD-ROM Setup Instructions
To properly configure the CD-ROM drive, perform the following instructions:
During bootup, access setup by pressing the F1 key when prompted.
Select SECONDARY IDE MASTER TOSHIBA CD ROM XM and press the
Enter key.
Verify that the IDE device configuration is Auto Configured .
Save settings and exit.
Access the Windows '95 main menu and click on [START].
Select Settings.
