The length to be stripped from each optical cable is equal to 1.2 meters plus the distance from
the fixing position of the optical cable to the splicing tray, splicing and termination tray, or
direct splicing tray (1.2 m + L for short). Reserve optical fibers of a certain length to prevent
fiber breakage.
5.6 Securing Optical Cables
Securing Bundle Optical Cables Using Hose Clamps
Step 1 Lead the optical cable through the hose clamp, insert the strength member into the hole on the
fixing post, and secure the strength member and hose clamp.
