Step 4 After the optical fibers are spliced and passed the check, fit fiber splice protectors on the fiber
splice holder, coil the optical fibers as described in
tubes with cable ties.
After the fiber splice protectors are secured, ensure that the bare fibers at both ends are
loosely arranged to avoid fiber damage.
Step 5 Close the cover of the straight splicing tray, and insert the straight splicing tray back into the
subrack.
