Safety Instructions
Read all the safety instructions and general
instructions. Failure to observe the safety in-
structions and general instructions may result
in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
This water pressure equipment is designed exclus-
u
ively for the supply of water to diamond wet drill bits.
Check the water pressure equipment for damage be-
u
fore each use. Impermissibly high strain during operation
and transport, incorrect storage and a lack of care may
1 609 92A 7HM | (13.05.2022)
lead to premature wear of the water pressure equipment.
In the event of damage to the pressure vessel (11) or un-
explained pressure loss, the water pressure equipment
must be checked by a qualified specialist.
Always check the water pressure equipment is work-
u
ing correctly before use. Pay particular attention to
the leak-tightness of the hose connection and
screwed connections. Check the material for the
formation of cracks, brittleness and corrosion.
Check the safety valve before each use. To do so, fit
u
the pump and screw them together. Operate the pump
until a pressure increase is no longer visible on the pres-
sure gauge (the safety valve blows off the pressure). The
maximum pressure displayed on the pressure gauge must
not exceed 6.6 bar.
Do not expose filled water pressure equipment to sun-
u
light for prolonged periods. The operating temperature
must not exceed 50 °C.
Fill the water pressure equipment with clean water.
u
Always use the filling sieve (2).
Prior to opening the water pressure equipment, al-
u
ways press the button on the pressure release valve
(6). There is a risk of injury when opening the pressurised
water pressure equipment.
Protect the water pressure equipment against frost,
u
especially when it is filled. Only store it when empty
and depressurised. Failure to do so can damage the
pressure vessel (11).
Do not leave filled water pressure equipment in the
u
place of use unattended.
No repairs or renovation whatsoever may be per-
u
formed on pressure vessel (11). For reasons of safety,
we recommend having the water pressure equipment
tested by an approved testing laboratory for pressure
vessels after five years of use.
The service life of the water pressure equipment must
u
be determined by the operator on the basis of a risk
assessment and taking the operating conditions into
account. Owing to the potential for material fatigue,
we strongly recommend that the equipment is not
used beyond a service life of 10 years.
Repairs to this water pressure equipment must be per-
u
formed by authorised specialists only. Order spare
parts from your specialist dealer, who will immediately
provide you with the appropriate parts.
Keep the water pressure equipment out of the reach
u
of children.
The safety instructions and working advice for the dia-
u
mond drill and accessories used must be strictly ob-
served.
Observe valid national and international standards.
