ECO MANAGEMENT

Can optimize lamp power and reduce the power
consumption according to the application.
1 ) Press ▲▼ to select [ECO
MANAGEMENT].
2 ) Press the <ENTER> button.
The [ECO MANAGEMENT] screen is displayed.

3 ) Press ▲▼ to select the item and press
◄► to switch the setting.
AUTO POWER SAVE
J
[AMBIENT LIGHT DETECTION],
[SIGNAL DETECTION], and [AV MUTE DETECTION]
functions can be used.
Note
Not available when [LAMP POWER] is set to [ECO].
z
1. Select [AUTO POWER SAVE] in Step 3.
2. Press ◄► to switch ON (Enable) / OFF
(Disable) of the [AUTO POWER SAVE]
setting.
The setting will change as follows each time the
z
button is pressed.
ON
ON Enables AUTO POWER SAVE
OFF Disables AUTO POWER SAVE
3. Press ▲▼ to select [AUTO POWER
SAVE] conditions.
AMBIENT LIGHT Adjusts the lamp power according
DETECTION to the ambient brightness.
SIGNAL Drops the lamp power when no
DETECTION signal is input.
AV MUTE Drops the lamp power in the AV
DETECTION Mute mode.
4. Press ◄►to switch ON (Enable) / OFF
(Disable) of the selected condition.
The setting will change as follows each time the
z
button is pressed

OFF Disables the setting
Note
In following cases, [LAMP POWER] does not drop
z
automatically.
• When [LAMP POWER] is [ECO].
Immediately after the lamp is turned on or immediately
•
after setting [LAMP POWER]
When [ECO MANAGEMENT] is [OFF], you cannot set
z
[AMBIENT LIGHT DETECTION], [SIGNAL DETECTION],
and [AV MUTE DETECTION] linked.
The selection made here is reflected to the indication of
z
set ECO level in the "Multi Projector Monitoring & Control
Software" installed from the supplied CD-ROM.
NO SIGNAL SHUT-OFF

If no signal is input within a preset time, the projector
power is automatically switched to the standby state.

The selection made here is reflected to the indication of

Software" installed from the supplied CD-ROM.

The duration is set to 30 minutes under factory default

settings and after you perform [INITIALIZE ALL].

This function can set the electric power when the
projector is standing by.

Note
If STANDBY MODE is set to [ECO], you cannot use
z
network functions when the projector is standing by. Also,
you cannot use some RS-232C protocol commands.
When you turn the POWER switch [ON], display of
the initial image may be delayed for approximately
OFF
10 seconds when compared with [NORMAL] mode
operation.
If set to [NORMAL], you can use network functions when
z
the projector is standing by.
