10 Troubleshooting - 536 LiL, 536 LiR
10. 1For products with S/N: -2015080000 (536LiL), -2015100000 (536LiR).
Symptom
The product cannot be activated.
No LEDs come on after pressing the
on/off button.
The product cannot be activated
and batteries that are inserted are
immediately ruined.
The electric motor does not react
after pressing the control.
Electric motor stutters for a short
period when pressing the control,
after which it stops.
The product turns off under load
Keypad lighting flickers.
Uneven motor speed

Possible causes
Faulty battery
Bad contact between battery and
product.
Bad contact with keypad connector
Defective keypad
Damage to the multi-wire cable
between the control unit and the
keypad or breaker.
Short circuit in control unit
Short circuit in control unit
Poor connection in breaker signal
contact.
Motor contacts not properly as-
sembled.
Interior damage to breaker
Short circuit in control unit
Short circuit in control unit
Bad contact between battery and
product.
Bad contact with keypad connector
Short circuit in keypad
Poor connection in breaker signal
contact.
Damaged or worn out breaker
Recommended action
1. Check the battery by pressing the
status button. At least one green
LED should light up. See also
Battery and Charger
2. Make sure the power connectors
between the battery and the prod-
uct are not dirty or damaged. See
figure 1 in the appendix.
3. Make sure the keypad connector
is correctly assembled, dry, is not
damaged and is corrosion-free.
See figure 2 in the appendix.
4. Change the keypad
5. Repair or change the multi-wire
cable. (Applies only if there is vis-
ible damage.)
6. Replace the control unit

1. Make sure the breaker signal con-
nector is correctly assembled, dry,
is not damaged and is corrosion-
free. See figure 3 in the appendix

tor contacts are correctly fitted.
