Functional AFS test of the LBB 3310/10

Connect 2 delegate units to CPSU.
Switch On the CPSU.
Mic mode, 1 unit active.
Volume set to 0.
Bend microphone of one unit towards the loudspeaker of the other delegate unit and switch On the microphone.
Distance loudspeaker – microphone approx. 20 –25 cm.
AFS switched Off.
Increase the volume of the CPSU. After approx. step 5 the feedback starts (whistle tone).
Put volume back to 0.
AFS switched On.
Increase volume from 0 till 10. Feedback should not appear.
(Short feedback sound could be heard due to audio regulation of the AFS when mic is close to the loudspeaker).
When AFS is switched Off at volume pos 10, sharp feedback whistle tone starts immediately.
Switch On AFS, feedback audio stops.
Not correct operating AFS board.
If the AFS board not operates as above described, send the board (or CPSU) to the Bosch central repair facility.
Note
Be sure that the cable clamp on the flat cable (CPSU board – upper housing board) is correctly
mounted. Purpose is to keep the flat cable away from the AFS board due to HF emission.
Note
The AFS board used in the PLENA Feedback Suppressor is not compatible with the Congress
version. The board hardware is identical with exception of the 2 not mounted red 40p flat cable
sockets (X300 and X302) on the Congress version. The on-board software is different for the PLENA
and Congress versions.
