Program sequence

1. Connect the adapter to the connection on the exter-
nal refrigerant cylinder.
2. Connect the red (HP) quick release coupler on the
ACS 651/751 to the connecting adapter on the exter-
nal refrigerant cylinder.
3. Tighten the couplers.
Warning - risk of frostbite!
If refrigerant escapes, there is a risk of
frostbite to the hands and body.

Wear protective goggles.

Wear protective gloves.
4. Open shut off valves on the external refrigerant cylinder.
 The current internal pressure of the external
refrigerant cylinder is displayed on the HP
manometer.
5. In the main menu, select "ACS Maintenance" and
press E.
6. Press E to select "Internal Bottle Fill".

To ensure reliable operation, it is recommended to use
the optimum refrigerant quantity. The optimum refrig-
erant quantity for the ACS 651/751 is
5 kg - 9 kg. If the quantity is too less, you may not be
able to recharge the refrigerant during service. If the
quantity is too high, you may not be able to recover the
refrigerant during service.

Usually, the final quantity of the refrigerant filled exceeds
the set quantity by 200 grams to 400 grams. This is
because the refrigerant from the internal refrigerant
circuit is also emptied. When refrigerant is filled for the
first time, add 1.3 kg to the set quantity. The additional
quantity accounts for the residual refrigerant quantity in
the internal cylinder.

7. Press E.
8. Enter the quantity of R134a to be filled and press E.
 The filling of the internal refrigerant cylinder starts.
After the internal refrigerant is filled, the quantity
of refrigerant filled is displayed.

To stop filling the internal refrigerant cylinder, press
the c key.

The time required for filling 10 kilogram of
refrigerant is about 45 minutes.
After the internal refrigerant tank is filled, the fol-

lowing screen appears.
10. Close the valves on the external refrigerant tank.
Press .
11. Turn the quick couplers in the counterclockwise
direction and disconnect the couplers connecting the

two cylinders. Press
 to start the hose drain.
12. Press
13. Press c twice to return to the main menu.

The internal refrigerant tank is filled.

To check the quantity of refrigerant in the internal
refrigerant tank after the filling is complete, press
the i key.
