Target
This chapter contains notes and information on the maintenance of the VAU
01.1U. This chapter describes e.g. how to replace the battery. Furthermore, it
contains information on storage and transportation of the VAU 01.1U.
For replacing the battery, the following have to be present:

A T10 Torx screwdriver
●
A T25 Torx screwdriver
●
A battery permitted by Bosch Rexroth (e.g. "AKKU24V/2,5Ah", parts
number: 1070923287)
The VAU 01.1U is maintenance-free. However, a few parts are subject to
wear and have to be replaced after a certain number of operating hours.
CAUTION
If hardware or software components have to be replaced, please contact the
Bosch Rexroth Service (see
or ensure that only qualified persons replace the respective components.
Include the following measures in your maintenance schedule:

At least once a year, check all plug and terminal connections of the
components regarding proper tightness and possible damage. Verify
that lines and cables are not broken or squeezed. Replace damaged
parts immediately.
The used batteries are recyclable and can be returned to Bosch
Rexroth after replacement. They must not be disposed in the
standard household refuse!
WARNING
Do not load, remove, destroy, burn or heat batteries over 100 °C. Dispose old
batteries immediately and properly. Keep away from children!
