(Reference Figure 7-2)
The operation of the horizontal circuit begins on the MA-board at IC0401/pin4 where the H-Drive signal is developed.
The 33.75KHz horizontal oscillator is in the Y/C CRT drive IC0491. IC0401/pin 4 outputs a 1Vpp rectangular
waveform (H-DRV). The H-DRV signal passes through the A-board and is then applied to the D-board. On the
D-board, the H-DRV waveform is amplified through Q5008 and Q5005, and then applied to buffer Q5004.
The MOSFET driver Q5006 and the output transistor Q5001 amplify the signal to provide sufficient current to
drive the HOT T5200 and the H-DY deflection yoke.
At the output stage, the HOT T5200 has secondary windings supplying filament voltage, +/-15V for the vertical
driver IC5004 power supplies, and the horizontal centering circuit IC5005 for horizontal centering on CRT.
