8.1 (Optional) Installing Antitheft Baffle Plate Bases for
the Battery Cabinet
Procedure
Step 1 Remove screw caps from the position for installing antitheft baffle plate bases on the battery
cabinet.
Step 2 Install the antitheft baffle plate bases on the cabinet.
Issue 01 (2014-03-12)
Put on an insulation covering when using a screwdriver and tools alike. Otherwise, the
batteries might be burned out and cause damages to human body.
Switch off the battery circuit breakers before you install the batteries.
During battery installation, never short-circuit or reversely connect positive and negative
battery terminals. Connect the negative battery cable before the positive battery cable.
Secure battery cables to a torque specified in battery documentation. Loose connections
will result in excessive voltage drop or cause batteries to burn out when the current is
large.
