(7). RB Decoder Adjustment
Test Point:
Recording Output Jack
Adjust:
VR201 (RB C-GAIN)
VR202 (RB C-PHASE)
Supply the Colour Bar signal to the Camera Input 2
Connector on the Rear Panel.
Press the CH2 button on the Front Panel.
Adjust VR201 so that the Chroma vector positions their
respective boxes as shown in Fig. 4-13.

VR302 (RC C-PHASE)
Supply the Colour Bar signal to the Camera Input 3
Connector on the Rear Panel.
Press the CH3 button on the Front Panel.
Adjust VR301 so that the Chroma vector positions their
respective boxes as shown in Fig. 4-14.

Supply the Colour Bar signal to the Camera Input 1, 2 and
3 Connectors on the Rear Panel.
Press the CH4 button on the Front Panel.
Repeat adjust steps (7). RB Decoder Adjustment and
(8). RC Decoder Adjustment so that the differences of
each Decoder becomes minimum.
(9). Black and White Signal Confirmation
Test Point:
Recording Output Jack
Supply the Black and White Step signal (without Burst sig-
nal) to the Camera Input 1, 2 and 3 Connectors on the
Rear Panel.
Connect the terminated Oscilloscope with 75Ω to the
Recording Output Jack.
Press the CH1 button, CH2 button and CH3 button on the
Front Panel sequentially, and confirm that the signal of the
Recording Output Connector in each mode is normal.
(10). Frequency Confirmation
Test Point:
Recording Output Jack
Supply the Sweep signal (up to 10 MHz) to the Camera
Input 1, 2 and 3 Connectors on the Rear Panel.
Connect the terminated Oscilloscope with 75Ω to the
Recording Output Jack.
Press the CH1 button, CH2 button and CH3 button on the
Front Panel sequentially.
Confirm that the 2.0 MHz signal at the Recording Output
Connector becomes – 1 dB ± 3 dB compare to the Input
signal in each mode.
(11). Character Position Adjustment
Test Point:
Recording Output Jack
Adjust:
CT901 (CHARA POSITION)
CT902 (CHARA DIVIDER)
Supply the Composite Sync signal (with approx. 20%
Setup) to the Camera Input 1, 2 and 3 Connectors on the
Rear Panel.
Connect the Oscilloscope to the Recording Output Jack.
Press the CH1 button.
Press the Sequence/Alarm Reset/Set button on the Front
Panel so that the picture as shown in Fig. 4-15 will be dis-
played on the Underscanned Colour Video Monitor.
