Maintenance and servicing
6.4 Replacing components
Description
The average service life of the device fans is approximately 50,000 hours. In practice,
however, the service life depends on other variables (e.g. ambient temperature, degree of
cabinet protection, etc.) and, therefore, may deviate from this value.
The fans must be replaced in good time to ensure the availability of the Cabinet Module.
Preparatory steps
● Observe the "five safety rules".
● Remove the protective cover.
● Allow unimpeded access.
Removal steps
The removal steps are numbered in accordance with the figure above.
1. Remove the busbars (12 screws).
2. Remove the retaining screws for the fan (3 screws).
3. Disconnect the supply cables (1 x "L", 1 x "N").
You can now carefully remove the fan.
NOTICE
Do not damage any signal cables
When removing, ensure that you do not damage any signal cables.
Risk of injury from sharp edges
Take care not to cut yourself on the sharp edges inside the cabinet.
Installation steps
Installing is the same as removing, however in the reverse order.
NOTICE
Pay attention to the tightening torques
The tightening torques specified in the table "Tightening torques for screw connections"
must be observed.
