System architecture
This configuration allows for integration of a number of Cerloop (proprietary Class A
loop), Cerban and/or RS485 connectable control panels. In addition it allows for CS6
Guarto integration via LON-bus. The NK82xx Ethernet Ports provide the liaison to
MM8000/MK8000.
Additionally, the NK82xx provides serial connectivity to a local host
(MM8000/MK8000) using an RS-232 line via CMSDL protocol.
Communication/connection
The NK82xx is connected on the upstream side via Ethernet to the MM8000 and/or
the MK8000, and on the downstream side via serial lines and/or via LON-bus to a
number of different fire & security control units.
Dial-up lines can optionally be used as a backup connection in the event the network
is down, or as a primary connection when no network is present.
