Notes
• The paper tray holds up to 100 sheets of paper. If
you exceed this limit, paper jams may occur.
• Do not mix paper of different types.
• When adding paper to the paper tray, remove the
printing surface protection sheet of the new paper
and place the new paper on the top of the paper
already in the paper tray.
• Load the paper so that it lays flat in the paper tray.
If the paper is curled, it will overflow the paper
tray and the printing position may shift. If this
happens, load fewer sheets in the paper tray.
• If you place the paper in the paper tray with its
printing surface facing up, it is recommended that
you clean the thermal head with the thermal head
cleaning kit (supplied). See "Cleaning the
thermal head" on page 17.
When you use UPT-735BL film, the error
message "REMOVE PAPER AND PRESS [g]"
may appear if you print on the wrong side. In such
a case, remove the film sheets which have not yet
been used from the printer and replace them
properly.
4
Close the tray cover and slide the paper tray into the
printer until it clicks into place.
Notes on storing the paper
• Do not leave the paper in direct sunlight or bright
room light. Store in a dark area at low temperature
(30°C (80°F) or lower) and low humidity. We
recommend storing the paper in a polypropylene
pouch in a cabinet.
• Do not allow any volatile organic solvent such as
alcohol to come in contact with the paper. Be careful
when storing the paper.
• Do not stack paper on or under a freshly developed
diazo copy sheet as this could cause the film to turn
black.
• Use the original package for storing unused paper.
