Is IC601 pin 11(FE) output
normal in Focusing
UP/DOWN?
YES
Is IC501 pin 3 (FE) input normal
in Focusing UP/DOWN?
NO
Check the peripheral circuit of
IC603 (BU4053),
IC601 (NJM3403).
If it's OK, Replace it.
Tracking Servo is unstable.
Is IC601 pin 10 (TE) output
Normal in Focusing ON and
Tracking OFF?
YES
Is IC501 pin 143 (TE)
input normal in Focusing ON and
Tracking OFF?
NO
Check the peripheral circuit of
IC603 (BU4053), IC610
(NJM3403).
If it's OK, Replace it.

Replace IC501 (CXD3011R-1)
