Alarm and message displays

8-4
The alarm/message window is used to display alarms and messages which can
arise in the event of a fault.
Only one alarm or message at a time can be displayed in the alarm and message
lines of the standard display. If several alarms or messages are output
simultaneously, the alarm or message with the highest priority or the last alarm
or message to be output is displayed in the alarm/message line.
Other alarms and messages can only be viewed in the alarm window.
You can select the alarm window via the Area Switchover and the
DIAGNOSIS and ALARMS softkeys or directly using the hotkey:
• SHIFT + ETC
Fig. 8-2
The Alarm window
Alarms and messages are displayed in a single line with their number, text,
clearance class, alarm type, date and time. You are also provided with
information on the interlocks on the NCK.
The current NCK/PLC/611D and MMC alarms and messages are displayed in
the order of their occurrence, i.e. the most recently triggered alarm or message
appears at the top of the list.
Via softkey you can select whether you wish to display all alarms or alarms
organized into individual alarm groups. You can also list the alarms in order of
priority using the softkeys ETC and PRIO.
