Solution
Carefully pour off any excess oil or fat
from the pan, place the fat separator
in the pan and then continue cooking.

White smoke is caused by greasy
residues heating up in the pan.
Always clean the pan, basket and fat
separator thoroughly after every use.
Tiny pieces of airborne breading
can cause white smoke. Firmly press
breading or coating to food to ensure
it sticks.
Pat food dry before placing it in the
basket.
Unplug the appliance and let it cool
down for 1 minute before plugging in
again.
