There are three control buttons at the bottom of the display.
• The Next Page button cycles through the pages of alarms and to the self-test page.
• The Next Alarm button cycles horizontally through the current alarms, from left to
right, starting with the first row of alarms. A graphical frame borders the current
status box to indicate the selected alarm. The front panel display is dynamically
controlled according to the selected alarm.
• The Ack button controls the state of the alarms.
The annunciator alarm sequence conforms to ISA 18.1-1979 (R1992) standard, type R.

The visual indications are displayed as follows.
• Off: grey text on a darker grey background.
• On: bright white text on a colored background.
• Fast flash: Alternating between the off state and the on state two times per second.
• Slow flash. Alternating between the off state and the on state one time per second
In the event of an alarm, the page containing the alarm will be promoted to active page. If
there are multiple pages with alarms, the page with the lowest page number is promoted.
