TV Guide On Screen _ system
Although initial setup for the TV
Guide On Screen ® system was
completed hours ago, program
listings does not display when
[TV GUIDE] is pressed.
"Cable code -INCOMPLETE-"
appears m the TV Guide On
Screen _ system setup,
Some or all of the channels
display "'No Listing",
Cannot receive some channels
dtsplayed on the program
listmgs.
Some over-the=air or cable
channels are not listed on the
program listings and even on the
CHANNEL EDITOR screen.
The program highhghted doesn't
match up with the video window
on the TV screen.
The umt doesn't change
channels or it changes to the
wrong channel.
Some channels are listed on the
wrong number.

• For a newly installed untt, the TV Gutde On Screen _' system may not have been gtven enough
ttme to download the imhal data ThLs procedure can only occur when the unit ts tn standby
mode for a penod of 24 hours (Dunng thts ttme, do not turn on the untt as the download will be
tnterrupted) Once the procedure takes place the phrase No Listing' w_ll be replaced w_th
program rnformatlon
• The channel(s) tn questton was [were) recently turned ON" (tn the CHANNEL EDITOR
screen), however, TV Gutde On Screen '_'system has yet to recetve channel data for thts
channel Leave the unit tn standby mode
•Immedtately after begtnntng use there are several days of blank listings You can dtsplay the
program hsttngs for up to the next 8 days without any blank hstJngsby downloadtng program
hsttngs conttnuously over several days
• The unit was left turned on for an extended period of ttme and the TV Gutde On Screen _
system was unable to recetve program hstlngs data Press [(b, DVD,'VHS POWER] to set the
untt _nstandby mode when not tn use

channels to OFF' in the CHANNEL EDITOR screen

• Data for local programmtng whtch _snot provtded to TV Gutde's data distribution network
would also not be avatlable
• The data entered durtng the _ntttal setup was tncorrect {e g The user entered the wrong ZIP 38
postal code or selected the _ncorrect channel hne-upj Select Change system settings' menu
and venfy the data entered durtng tntttalsetup If the settings are wrong, set up the TV Gutde
On Screen '_ system again
• The Vtdeo wtndow _slocked to rematn on the channel you were prevtously watchtng 38
• The station tn question may have made recent program schedule changes and the TV Gutde
On Screen' system has not yet been updated
• The cable company has not yet informed industry sources of thetr channel hne-up changes 38
