When using MKS-8050/2050, connect to an XGA
compatible monitor to view edit data pages.
Note
You cannot view edit data pages on the XGA compatible
monitor unless you have enabled a license for the BZS-
8050 Editing Control Software.
Refer to the User's Guide for information about how to
enable your license.
b DATA connector (RJ-45)
Connect to an Ethernet switch.*
A Switcher Processor (such as MVS-8000G), a DME
Processor (such as MVE-8000A) and other devices can be
connected in the same way to the Ethernet switch to form
a network for exchange of signals between the devices.
This network is used primarily for exchange of various
types of data (key frame effects, snapshots, etc.) and still
pictures of frame memory.

For more information about Ethernet switch connectors,
see "MVS/DVS System Configuration" (page 16).
For detailed information about setting up the Ethernet
switch, refer to the documentation supplied with the
Ethernet switch.
c DEVICE connector (USB Type A)
Connect to the HOST connector of the main panel, AUX
panel or the MKS-8076 Memory Card/USB Adaptor.
d CTRL (control) connector (RJ-45)
Connect to an Ethernet switch.
The MVS-8000G Switcher Processor, the MVE-8000A
DME Processor and other devices are connected in the
same way to the Ethernet switch to form a network for
exchange of signals between the devices.
This network is used primarily to control the various
devices from the center control panel.
