Menu operation buttons
Button Operations
MENU button When the on-screen menu is not
displayed, press the button to display
the menu. Press again to clear the menu.
When the menu is displayed, press the
button to reset the value of an item to
the previous value.
ENTER button When the menu is displayed, press the
button to confirm a menu item or
setting value.
However, the following operations are
not available.
Turning on/off the light of the

characters that represent the names
of the buttons when the menu is not
displayed, and displaying/hiding the
names of the functions assigned to
the function buttons
Displaying the signal format by

pressing and holding the button
UP button When the menu is displayed, press the
DOWN button button to select a menu item or setting
value.
Power button
Button Operations
MONITOR Switches the operating mode of the
switch monitor.
Press the button for the sleep mode
when the monitor is in the operating
mode. The power indicator on the front
panel lights in red.
Press the button for the operating mode
when the monitor is in the sleep mode.
Rotary encoder/MANUAL buttons
Knob Operations
CONTRAST knob Adjusts the picture contrast.
BRIGHT knob Adjusts the picture brightness.
CHROMA knob Adjusts the color intensity.
PHASE knob Available only in the color temperature
adjusting menu.
No other operations are available.
Button Operations
CONTRAST Press the button to adjust contrast
MANUAL button manually.
BRIGHT MANUAL Press the button to adjust brightness
button manually.
CHROMA MANUAL Press the button to adjust color intensity
button manually.
PHASE MANUAL Available only in the color temperature
button adjusting menu.
No other operations are available.
Value input button
Button Operations
1 button Press to monitor the signal input to
2 button each connector.
1 button: To monitor the 4K signal

through the SDI IN connector
(similar to the SDI 4K button on the
front panel of the monitor)
2 button: To monitor the 2K signal

through the SDI IN connector
(similar to the SDI 2K button on the
front panel of the monitor)
5 button Turns on or off functions assigned to
6 button the function buttons from F1 to F5 on
7 button the front panel of the monitor.
8 button 5 button: F1 button

9 button 6 button: F2 button

7 button: F3 button

8 button: F4 button

9 button: F5 button

Ent button Operates similar to the ENTER button
on the controller.
Function buttons
Button Operations
F1 to F16 button Turns on or off functions assigned to
the function buttons on the controller.
The following functions are available.
[Mono], [Blue Only], [R Off], [G Off],
[B Off], [Character Off], [Native Scan],
[Interlace], [Aperture] (selecting the
manually adjusted setting in
[Aperture]), [Marker], [Aspect
Marker], [Area Marker1], [Area
Marker2], [Center Marker], [Aspect
Marker-Line], [Aspect Blanking-Black],
[Aspect Blanking-Half]
Note
You can connect up to 3 BKM-16R units to the BVM-
X300.
