Note: The brake must be engaged and the
motion-control levers must be out to start the
engine. The operator does not have to be in the
seat because of the jumper wire being used. Run
the engine at full throttle and release the brake.
6. Run the machine at least 5 minutes with the
motion-control levers at full forward speed to bring the
hydraulic oil up to operating temperature.
Note: The motion-control lever needs to be in neutral
while making any necessary adjustments.
7. Bring the motion-control levers into the neutral
position.
8. Adjust the pump control rod lengths by rotating the
double nuts on the rod in the appropriate direction
until the wheels slightly creep in reverse

in reverse.
10. Shut off the machine. Remove the jumper wire from
wire harness and plug the connector into the seat
switch.
11. Remove the jack stands.
12. Raise the deck and install the height-of-cut pin.
13. Check that the machine does not creep in neutral with
the park brakes disengaged.
