Push-to-Talk (PTT) Button
Press and hold down the PTT button to talk. Release the PTT button to
listen. The microphone is activated when the PTT button is pressed.

The Programmable Button is programmable through the Customer
Programming Software (CPS) of the radio. The User Guide of your
radio contains a full description of the programmable functions that are
available through this button.

2-dot Programmable Button
Microphone Gateway
This Programmable Button is mapped to the Mobile Microphone
Gateway 2-Dot Button. Pressing the Orange Programmable Button on
the WRSM will trigger the event set in 2-Dot Button.
Tasklight Features
The Tasklight Button on the bottom of the WRSM serves a few purposes
and can be configured using the APS tool. The default configuration is
Light Control.
•
Tasklight Control – Pressing the Tasklight Button for 1 second to
switch ON/OFF the tasklight. During low/critical battery, the Tasklight
blinks for 30 seconds and will be auto switched OFF.
NOTE:
The Tasklight is disabled when WRSM is in Dark Mode.

APS Tool allows you to select three new options; typically Light and
Radio, Radio and 1-Dot features.
1. Light and Radio – Pressing the Tasklight Button and release it in
less than 1 second, the WRSM activates the radio switching
feature. Pressing the Tasklight Button more than 1 second, the
function will switch back to Tasklight Control and Dark Mode
features.
2. Radio – Pressing the Tasklight Button for more than 1 second, the
WRSM activates the radio switching feature. The Tasklight and
Dark Mode features are disabled.
3. 1-Dot – This 1-Dot option is mapped to the 1-Dot Button of the
radio. Pressing the 1-Dot button on the WRSM will trigger the
event set in 1-Dot Button. The Tasklight, Dark Mode and Radio
Switching features are disabled.
