The following
message flashes in
the display:
SYSTEM FILLING
UP - OPEN THE
VALVE
Possible cause and remedy
The machine needs descaling and/or the filters in the brew
unit are blocked.
^ Switch the machine off with the On/Off - button.
^ Press the OK button for two seconds and go to
MAINTENANCE - DESCALING.
^ Descale the coffee machine.
^ Remove the brew unit and rinse it under running water
(see "Brew unit").
If the fault message appears in the display again,
^ degrease the brew unit (see "Brew unit").
If, after doing this, the message is still in the display,
^ contact Miele.
