HARDWARE
The Dica 220 hardware consists of the following modules:
•
10BaseT/100BaseT Ethernet interface
•
Trigger input and flash outputs
•
I/O connector
•
CMOS sensor
•
TriMedia processor

The bi-colour System LED gives valuable information in
case the Dica 220 does not function as required. See
chapter 2.5.2 for more information. Also a bi-colour led is
available to signal the status of the Ethernet connection.
See chapter 2.1 for more information.

2.1
For the interconnection of the Dica 220 camera to the host
PC a so-called 10BaseT (for 10Mbs) or 100BaseT (for
100Mbs) connection is used. For this link the PC must be
equipped with an Ethernet Controller.
To connect one single Dica 220 directly to a PC, only a
UTP cross cable is required. In order to be able to control
multiple Dica 220 cameras adequate knowledge of how an
Ethernet network has to be configured is required. This
manual assumes the reader has this knowledge.
