SOFTWARE INSTALLATION

There is no special software supplied with the Dica 220, so
no installation is necessary.
To start using the Dica 220 you can select one of the
following software products that can be obtained
separately from Industrial Vision:
Rhapsody
The 'Rhapsody' package is a powerful set of software tools
and a C-API for writing industrial vision applications in a C
or C++ environment. Rhapsody gives the freedom of
programming a specific user application with maximum
performance and minimal overhead. The Rhapsody
package comprises libraries for building applications for
the Windows and the embedded TriMedia platform.
For running embedded Rhapsody applications a
'Rhapsody Runtime License' must be purchased
separately.
Promise
The Dica 220 is also supported by 'Promise', an add-on
library for National Instruments LabVIEW. Using graphical
representations for functions, the application designer can
create a program capable of executing a complex vision
task.

Clicks
The Dica 220 is also supported by 'Clicks', a graphical
development environment for creating a measurement
which is very user friendly and easy to use. When the
measurement is ready it can be downloaded to the
camera. If the camera is configured to run a Clicks-
measurement it will automatically start the downloaded
measurement after power-up or reset of the camera.
For running embedded Clicks measurements a
'Clicks Runtime License' must be purchased separately.
