Speed-dialing
number
programming
1. Press [MENU] twice.
2. Press [SET1.
3. Enter a speed-dial
location number using the number keys.
Example:
To store a fax number in the speed-dial
location number 10, press [1], and then [0].
4. Press [SET1.
5. Enter the party's name (to a maximum of 16 characters)
6. Press [SET1.
7. Enter the fax (or telephone)
number to be stored.
A maximum of 32 digits can be entered, including
pauses and hyphens.
Example:
1-222-3333
8. Press [SE~.
Repeat steps 3-8 to program other numbers
9. Press [STOP] to finish speed-dial
number programming.

press [STOP].
To enter a hyphen (–), press [SPEED DIAL].
To enter a three-second
pause between two digits of a number, press [REDIAIJP]
in the appropriate
place.
A semicolon
(;) in the display indicates a pause.
If you make a mistake in entering fax/phone
number, position the cursor over the digit to be changed using the
cursor shifl keys ([b]
and [4]),
and press [DELETE]
key to delete the digit. Then enter the correct digit.
