8-4-1. Adjustment Overview

All the adjustment of the RF system are adjusted using the menus in the maintenance mode.
Perform the adjustment about the format all that it can record/regenerate (playback).
There are the following in the RF system.
Record/Playback systems of the HDCAM SR format
Playback system of the HDCAM format (SRW-5500: Record/playback systems)
Playback system of the Digital BETACAM format (Option HKSR-5002 installed model only)

. The RF system adjustment is required in the 29.97 Hz mode, 25 Hz mode and the 23.98 Hz mode.
Adjust in the 29.97 Hz mode, and then adjust in the 25 Hz mode and the 23.98 Hz mode.
. For detail of each menu in the maintenance mode, refer to Section 3.

Cleaning tape BCT-HD12CL
Alignment tapes HR5-1A
HR5-1B
ZR5-1
ZR5-1P
Recording tape SONY BCT-SR series (HDCAM SR cassette: Separately available)
SONY BCT-HD series (HDCAM cassette: Separately available)

Use the blank tape erased using a tape eraser in advance or a new blank tape as a recording tape for the RF system
alignment.
