Tighten the screws to secure the optical-drive latch bracket to the optical drive assembly. Secure the optical-drive latch to the optical drive assembly. Tighten the screw to secure the optical drive latch. Slide the optical drive into its slot. Flip the computer, and push in the eject latch to secure the optical drive. Install the battery.

Remove the processor from the computer. Installing the Processor Align the notches on the processor and the socket, and insert the processor into the socket.
Disconnect the antenna cables from the WLAN card. Remove the screw that secures the WLAN card to the computer. Remove the WLAN card from its slot on the system board. Installing the WLAN Card Insert the WLAN card into its connector at a 45–degree angle into its slot. Connect the antenna cables to their respective connectors marked on the WLAN card.

Peel off the LVDS cable connector tape and disconnect the LVDS cable from the display panel. Remove the display panel from the display assembly. Installing the Display Panel Connect the LVDS cable and stick the LVDS cable connector tape. Flip the display and place it in the display assembly.
