Do not use sealant between the
frame of the top part of the
appliance and the worktop.
This could cause difficulties if the
applinace ever needs to be taken
out for servicing and possibly result
in damage to the frame or the
worktop.
The sealing strip under the edge of the
top part of the applinace provides a
sufficient seal for the worktop.

General installation tips

Tiled worktop
The grouting a and the shaded area
underneath the appliance frame must
be smooth and even so that the frame
sits evenly and the sealing strip
underneath the top part of the
appliance provides a sufficient seal for
the worktop.
Tiled worktops must be a minimum
5 mm thick to ensure the surface
temperatures of the combustible
surfaces underneath the tiles do not
exceed 50 K above ambient.
